Our corporate office is used for business correspondence. Our fulfillment and return warehouse is used for order processing, shipping, returns, and logistics. Please contact us before returning any item so we can provide the correct return instructions and return authorization.

1. Product Information

Lume Hearth is a professional online lighting store specializing in light bulbs and related lighting products for residential and everyday lighting needs.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, photos, prices, availability information, and compatibility details.

Product images are provided for reference. Slight differences in color, finish, packaging, shape, or appearance can occur due to screen settings, lighting, photography, manufacturing updates, or minor product improvements.

We do not knowingly misrepresent any product sold on our website.

2. Pricing and Promotions

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We work to keep all prices, discounts, product details, and availability information accurate. If a pricing error, stock issue, product information error, or technical issue is discovered before your order is shipped, we will contact you by email before proceeding.

If corrected order details are required, you can choose to continue with the corrected order or cancel the order for a full refund before shipment.

Promotional offers, discount codes, and limited-time deals cannot be combined unless clearly stated on the promotion.

Lume Hearth reserves the right to modify, suspend, or end promotions at any time before an order is placed.

3. Order Acceptance

After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email confirms that we have received your order request.

A binding order is formed once your order has been accepted and prepared for shipment.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order before shipment if there is a pricing error, stock issue, payment issue, suspected fraud, unavailable product, or incorrect customer information.

If we cancel your order before shipment, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other payment methods displayed at checkout.

Payment is processed securely when the order is placed.

We do not store full credit card details on our website.

If there is an issue with payment authorization, fraud screening, order verification, or dispatch, we will contact you by email.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping options, estimated delivery times, and applicable shipping charges are listed on our Shipping Policy page and during checkout.

Lume Hearth currently ships only within the contiguous United States.

We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, other U.S. territories, P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, DPO addresses, or international destinations.

We use FedEx for standard package delivery unless otherwise stated at checkout or in your order confirmation.

  • Order processing time is 2 to 3 business days.
  • Estimated carrier transit time is 3 to 5 business days after shipment.
  • Total estimated delivery time is 5 to 8 business days.

Delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Weather, carrier delays, address verification, holidays, high order volume, or other circumstances outside our direct control can affect delivery timing.

If we become aware of a significant delay, we will contact you by email.

For orders containing multiple items, products can ship together or separately depending on stock availability and fulfillment requirements.

7. Delivery Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information, shipping information, contact details, and order details before submitting an order.

Lume Hearth is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, lost packages, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping information provided by the customer.

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempt, refusal of delivery, or inability to deliver, we will contact you to arrange reshipment.

Additional shipping fees will apply for reshipment when the delivery issue is caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

8. Delivery Inspection

Please inspect your order as soon as it is delivered.

Because light bulbs and lighting components are fragile, damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Required Information for Delivery Issues

To report a delivery issue, email support@lumehearth.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos or videos of the product
  • Photos of the exterior packaging
  • Photos of the interior packaging
  • A photo of the shipping label

Please do not install or use any damaged or defective item before contacting us. Installed or used damaged items are more difficult to verify and can affect the available resolution.

9. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, Lume Hearth will provide a replacement or refund after the issue is reviewed and confirmed.

Reported Within 48 Hours of Delivery

For confirmed damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect items reported within 48 hours of delivery, Lume Hearth will cover the approved return shipping cost or replacement shipping cost.

Reported After 48 Hours of Delivery

If shipping damage is reported more than 48 hours after delivery, the claim will require additional review. A handling and service fee equal to 10% of the total order amount will be charged if a replacement or return is requested after the 48-hour inspection window.

10. Carrier Issues

Once an order has shipped, tracking information will be provided when available.

If your package is delayed, lost, or shows a delivery issue, please contact us at support@lumehearth.com.

We will review the tracking information and work with the carrier when appropriate.

If a package is confirmed lost or undeliverable through no fault of the customer, Lume Hearth will provide a replacement or refund after carrier confirmation.

11. Returns for Unwanted Items

We offer a 30-day return window for eligible unwanted items.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, the item must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • Undamaged
  • In resalable condition
  • Returned with all original accessories, manuals, parts, and components
  • Returned in original packaging

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for unwanted items, buyer’s remorse, wrong size selection, wrong specification selection, wrong color selection, or other customer preference returns.

Original shipping charges, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is caused by our error, a defective item, or confirmed shipping damage.

12. How to Start a Return

To request a return, email support@lumehearth.com with your order number, the item you want to return, and the reason for return.

After your request is reviewed and approved, we will provide:

  • The correct return address
  • Packaging and shipping requirements

14. Return Packaging

Returned items must be packaged securely to prevent damage during transit.

If the original packaging is missing or damaged, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.

If an item is damaged during return shipping because of insufficient packaging, the refund will be reduced based on the condition of the returned item.

Severely damaged, incomplete, or unidentifiable items cannot be accepted for return or refund.

15. Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will notify you by email.

If the refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 5 business days after inspection approval.

Your bank, credit card provider, or payment processor can require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Refunds will be reduced if the returned item is missing parts, damaged, used, installed, altered, or not returned in acceptable condition.

16. Restocking and Condition Fees

Lume Hearth does not charge restocking fees for eligible returns.

Eligible Returns — No Restocking Fee

Items returned in unused, uninstalled, and undamaged condition, with the original packaging and all included components, qualify for a full refund. No restocking fees or hidden processing charges will be deducted.

Missing Parts or Packaging

If a returned item is missing original components, accessories, manuals, or packaging materials, our team will review the return and contact you if additional information is required before processing the refund.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality assurance reasons, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Products showing signs of installation, use, or wear

  • Items with customer-caused damage or alterations

  • Products returned with significant missing components

  • Items that have been modified, customized, or permanently installed

17. Returns After 30 Days

Returns requested more than 30 days after delivery are not eligible for a standard refund.

After the 30-day return window has passed, eligible warranty claims will be handled under the Warranty section of these Terms.

18. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Custom or special-order items
  • Personalized items
  • Bulk commercial orders
  • Installed or used products
  • Items altered, modified, or repaired by the customer
  • Items damaged by misuse, improper installation, improper handling, incompatible fixtures, or normal wear and tear
  • Items missing original parts, accessories, manuals, or packaging that prevents resale
  • Unauthorized returns sent without approval

If you are placing a bulk commercial order, we recommend ordering a sample first to confirm suitability.

19. Cancellations

You can request to cancel your order before it has been shipped by contacting support@lumehearth.com with your order number.

If the order has not been processed or shipped, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

If the order has already shipped, it will be handled as a return after delivery and must follow our return process.

Custom, personalized, or special-order items cannot be canceled once production, sourcing, or fulfillment has begun.

20. Warranty

Products that are clearly marked as covered by a warranty are eligible for warranty service during the stated warranty period.

Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal residential use.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper installation
  • Misuse or abuse
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by incompatible fixtures or electrical systems
  • Damage caused by accidents, moisture exposure, power surges, or external conditions
  • Labor, electrician fees, installation fees, removal costs, or third-party service charges

How to Start a Warranty Claim

To start a warranty claim, contact support@lumehearth.com with your order number, photos or videos of the issue, and a description of the problem.

If a warranty claim is approved, Lume Hearth will provide a replacement part, replacement product, repair support, or another stated resolution based on the product and issue.

For approved warranty replacements after the 30-day return window, the customer is responsible for associated shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Lume Hearth.

21. Faulty Items

If an item is faulty upon arrival or becomes faulty during the applicable warranty period, please contact us by email before returning the item.

We can request photos, videos, troubleshooting details, or return inspection before approving a warranty solution.

If a return is required for inspection, we will provide return instructions and, when the issue is confirmed as a product defect covered by warranty, we will provide the approved resolution.

Warranty inspections are completed within 10 business days after the item is received at our Port Reading warehouse.

22. Installation and Electrician Costs

Customers should receive, inspect, and confirm all items before scheduling installation, electrician work, or related services.

Lume Hearth is not responsible for third-party labor costs, electrician fees, installation fees, removal costs, appointment charges, project delays, loss of use, or other indirect expenses related to delivery delays, product inspection, returns, exchanges, or warranty claims.

Electrical products should be installed only by a qualified professional where required.

23. Product Availability

All products are subject to stock availability at the time of ordering.

If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you by email.

You can choose to wait for restock, select an alternative item, or cancel the unavailable item for a refund.

Estimated restock dates are provided for convenience and can change due to supplier schedules, shipping delays, or other factors.

24. Customer Responsibilities

By placing an order, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate billing and shipping information
  • Review product specifications before purchase

  • Inspect your order promptly after delivery

27. Delay or Failure to Perform

Lume Hearth is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, fire, accidents, labor disputes, government actions, carrier disruptions, supply chain delays, or other events beyond our control.

If such an event affects your order, we will notify you and provide available options.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase will be handled under the applicable laws and courts of Colorado, unless otherwise required by law.
